Go, go, go, go SPAIN!

Spain has decided that if you build there, you must build at least partially green. Wouldn't it be nice if that sort of legislation existed in more places.

For those who just want to get green NOW!

For those who just want to get green NOW and not make any investment at all, here's a company that will pay for everything. You contract with them, they install the solar array (no cost to you) and you get solar power for your home. The catch? You pay them for electricity, instead of the power company.

Sounds like cable tv.

You know exactly what you are getting (the electricity cost per kw is fixed over the period of the contract, up to 25 years). You get green, now. And you even get a bit of blackout protection. What's not to like?
