For those who just want to get green NOW!
For those who just want to get green NOW and not make any investment at all, here's a company that will pay for everything. You contract with them, they install the solar array (no cost to you) and you get solar power for your home. The catch? You pay them for electricity, instead of the power company.
Sounds like cable tv.
You know exactly what you are getting (the electricity cost per kw is fixed over the period of the contract, up to 25 years). You get green, now. And you even get a bit of blackout protection. What's not to like?

This is happening in the US. They are selling it, right now, to US households. Go Buy It Now!
Haha..! Buy a house, sign'em up, have them convert it, then flip the house and make a little on the side! if everyone did this five times in their life, you know how many more solar-powered houses there would be?
